Admission Requirements

Here at ASC, we take class placement very seriously and work to ensure each student is placed in a class that will appropriately challenge them.

Therefore, placement auditions are required for all new students. Advancement in our classes is dependent upon the consent of the instructor, based on student performance and commitment.

Placement in many of our advanced level classes may be determined by the submission of a headshot and resume. You can upload a current copy of your headshot and resume through your student account on our website.

Please call our office for instructions on how to apply for a class, or you may easily submit your application for a class via your student account.

Paying For Your Class

In order to secure your spot in one of our classes, you must make at least a $150 non-refundable deposit which is applicable toward your total tuition. You can also pay in full at the time of registration.

If you choose to make the $150 deposit, the remaining tuition will be due on the first day of class. If you have entered a saved credit card into your student account, you will be automatically charged on the first day of class. If there is no saved credit card associated with your account, it is your responsibility to pay your remaining balance by the first day of class.

If you need to drop your class prior to the start of the term, you must give the office at least ONE WEEK’S NOTICE prior to the start of your class or workshop. If you do so: Any tuition paid toward the class and the non-refundable $150 deposit will be kept on credit at the studio for up to (12 months) , to be applied to a future class. ***COVID CREDIT*** ASC granted credit in March of 2020 to those students who elected to not move from an in person class to an online class. That credit was honored for a full 24 months until March of 2022.

OR

The non-refundable deposit will be held on credit at the studio for up to one year, to be applied to a future class. Any other tuition paid will be refunded to you minus a $20 processing fee.
