TEENS SHAKESPEARE WORKSHOP WITH BOB MASON

A fun, fast, and fearless way to introduce young people to Shakespeare as literature and performance. NO Shakespeare experience necessary!  

We use an active approach to introduce those Shakespearean works that are typically part of  high school language and drama curriculums. Students can look forward to connecting their own worlds with Shakespeare's stories, unlocking the language in a way that's easy to understand.

Taught by Bob Mason, Artistic Associate and Casting Director at Chicago Shakespeare Theater since 2000, whose credits include over 150 productions and thirty-five plays in Shakespeare's canon, including numerous productions with former Artistic Director Barbara Gaines and current Artistic Director Edward Hall.
