Drop Policy for Youth Students

ASC is committed to maintaining small class sizes full of dedicated students. In agreeing to the following policies, you help us provide a committed classroom environment.

Each student that takes class at Acting Studio Chicago must agree to the terms of our enrollment agreement (See sample)

Drop Policy Effective January 1, 2017

Acting for Youth/ Kids On-Camera

If you need to drop your class prior to the start of the term, you must give the office a ONE WEEK NOTICE.

If you do so: 

Any tuition paid toward the class and the non-refundable $100 deposit will be kept on credit at the studio for up to one year, to be applied to a future class.

Or

The non-refundable deposit will be held on credit at the studio for up to one year, to be applied to a future class.  Any other tuition paid will be refunded to you (minus a $5 credit card processing fee.)

If you fail to notify the office ONE WEEK prior to the start of the first class, you will lose your deposit.  Any tuition paid beyond the $100 deposit will be refunded to you (minus a $5 processing fee).

If you drop the class ONCE THE CLASS HAS BEGUN, the full tuition is non-refundable, non-transferrable, and may not be kept on file for a future class.

Workshops

The entire workshop fee is due upon registration unless otherwise noted.

If you need to drop, you must give ONE WEEK NOTICE. If you do so:  

Your tuition will be held on file at the studio for up to one year, to be applied toward a future class or workshop.

If you fail to notify the office ONE WEEK prior to the start of the workshop, you will lose your tuition.

Kids/Teens Summer Classes

½ Tuition is due upon registration, and the remaining balance will be due TWO WEEKS prior to the start date of the class.

If you need to drop for any reason, you must give us TWO WEEKS NOTICE.

If you do so:

Any tuition paid toward the class and the non-refundable deposit (half the tuition) will be kept on credit at the studio for up to one year, to be applied to a future class.

Or

The non-refundable deposit will be held on credit at the studio for up to one year, to be applied to a future class.  Any other tuition paid will be refunded to you (minus a $5 credit card processing fee).

If you fail to notify the office TWO WEEKS prior to the start of the program, you will lose your deposit.  Any tuition paid beyond the half-tuition deposit will be refunded to you (minus a $5 processing fee).

If you drop ONCE THE PROGRAM HAS BEGUN, the full tuition is non-refundable, non-transferable, and may not be kept on file for a future class.
