IMPROV FOR ACTORS WITH JACK BRONIS
This challenging, fun-filled class is taught by Jack Bronis, a long-time Chicago Improv Veteran who has performed, taught, and directed improv in many contexts. Class explores the fundamentals of improvisation with a focus on truthful behavior, active listening, and moment-to-moment interaction. You'll Learn to create dynamic relationships and improve focus. Improv gets you out of your analytical head and into your body, challenges the imagination, and works to strengthen your trust in your impulses.
During the final two weeks of class, students will choose a scene with their partner. Based on the conflict and the relationship in the text, students will improvise agreed-upon moments to deepen connection and personalization.
