Master Scene Study Class with Henry Wishcamper: Contemporary Playwrights

As a member of the Goodman Theatre Artistic Collective, Henry has directed his own adaptation of Animal Crackers, The Little Foxes, Christmas Carol and more.

This six week class is designed to challenge actors to explore relationship and circumstance in depth and to have this exploration color the actors’ choices about action and intention.

During the first 4 weeks of class actors will work on two assigned scenes. Henry will challenge students to allow what they are receiving from their scene partners to create natural beats of actions and shift their actions from one bold choice to another.

The final two weeks of class are dedicated to audition prep and working with readers.

PREREQUISITE: Actors with strong training and theatre credits should submit H/R to: resumes@actingstudiochicago.com
